The Haywoods Flower and Vegetable Show has become a village institution for Colwich, Great Haywood and Little Haywood, and is held annually on the second Sunday in September at Little Haywood Village Hall. But please don’t think we only accept entries for prize winning vegetables and flower arrangements! We have Sections for exhibiting bread, cakes, crafts, preserves, art and photography. There is also a whole section for children too.
The Haywoods Flower and Vegetable Show Society is a group of volunteers, who get together with the sole purpose of staging the annual Flower and Vegetable Show. We enjoy bringing the community together, to celebrate each other’s efforts and achievements in growing and making things, along with a sprinkling of gentle competition! We do not make a profit, but simply aim to generate enough funds from entry fees, refreshments and raffle ticket sales etc, to cover the costs of putting on the Show.
Village Shows are a wonderful slice of English life and so much fun to take part in, or just to experience as a visitor.

If you would like to be more involved with the Show, we need more volunteers on board to help keep the event going into the future. Of course, new faces and new ideas are always welcome.
